Fear reigns in cities like Monterrey, Reynosa, Ciudad Juárez and Tijuana. Hopelessness extends Sinaloa, Michoacan, Guerrero, Veracruz, Tabasco and Cuernavaca, Morelos.
Moreover, tragedies like the fire at the ABC Nursery, Sonora, have gone unpunished and the perpetrators of corruption and criminal negligence remain at large.
Should we get used to that? How many more deaths to mourn before we say enough is enough?
The murders, extortion and kidnapping are made by criminal organizations, the federal government's strategy to address them has not proven effective. Has not considered the social component that feeds organized crime, and worse, has not ensured that the armed forces to proceed with respect for human rights of the population in general.
